Meenakaari by Priyanka is a handloom label from Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. We offer sarees, shawls and dress materials from weavers in Varanasi, Lucknow, Bhagalpur and Kashmir, and hand block printed sarees from block printers in Madhya Pradesh. Most pieces exist only once. When one is sold, it is gone.

The story behind the name

Meenakaari began with a mother and a daughter, and a shared love for handloom. Priyanka grew up watching her mother, Meena, collect and cherish textiles with deep reverence. Sarees were never just garments in their home. They were stories, memories and quiet heirlooms, chosen with patience and care.

The name comes from her. From Meena. It is a tribute, a continuation, and a way of honouring the woman who passed down not just a collection, but a way of seeing craft.
